The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE comes with upgraded hardware. Inside the Mi 9 SE is Snapdragon 712 chipset with an Octa-core processor clocking 2.3 GHz and Adreno 616 GPU. While inside the Mi 8 SE is Snapdragon 710 chipset with an Octa-core processor clocking at 2.2 GHz and Adreno 616 GPU.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE and Mi 8 SE are available in 6/64GB and 6/128GB memory variants. While the Mi 8 SE has a third memory variant of 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage.
