iPad Air (2019) – Apple have released another new tablet device into the market. The tablet market isn’t as competitive as the smartphone market. But this new iPad Air (2019) has all it takes to be a leading player in the market. For starters, it comes with powerful hardware found on the iPhone XS Max. Other alternatives for this tablet includes the iPad Pro 11, Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) and many more.
iPad Air (2019) Design
The new iPad Air (2019) doesn’t look much different in design than previous Apple’s tablet. But unlike most Apple’s tablet, the new Air tablet comes with a fan favourite 3.5mm headphone jack and Touch ID button. It measures just 6.1mm in thickness, which is the slimmest non-Pro Apple tablet ever. And it weighs just 456 grams for the WiFi-only model and 464 grams for the 3G/LTE model. The tablet is available in Space Gray, Silver and Gold body colours, which shouldn’t be that much of a surprise.
You won’t see any new Apple tablet without the stylus pen. The iPad Air uses the 1st generation Apple pencil with great pressure sensitivity for taking notes and drawing. The pencil features a lightning connector that plugs it into the iPad Air for charging. Apple’s smart keyboard is also compatible with this iPad Air without the need for Bluetooth.
