The iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) comes with brand new design and follows the trend of the bezel-less display. The screen got bigger than its predecessor, well I guess not as big as the computers/laptops screen size. The design of the iPad Pro 12.9″ is very thin design, edge-to-edge display with no button. The dimensions stand at 280.6 x 214.9 x 5.9mm and it has a weight of 633 grams, which is considered lighter compared to its predecessor. The tablet comes in two different colour; Silver and Space Gray.
The home key and touch ID popular with Apple smartphones is now gone. The iPad instead features a Face ID as its biometric security sensor. To the surprise of many, there is no notch, above the screen is the IR flood illumination, IR camera and the FaceTime camera.

The iPad Pro 12.9″ didn’t change in terms of the display with its predecessor as it features the 12.9-inch display panel. The screen features a Liquid Retina LED with a resolution of 2048 x 2732 pixels and 265 PPI density. Screen-to-body ratio is at 85.4% and type screen is protected by scratch-resistant glass.

The processor features 4 Vortex cores which clock at 2.5 GHz and 4 Tempest cores at 1.6 GHz. The new seven cores graphics processing unit in this hardware delivers twice better graphics than its predecessor. It has two RAM variants of 4GB and 6GB. There is no memory card slot on this tablet. Storage options available for the iPad Pro 12.9″ are 64GB, 128GB, 512GB and 1TB.
