iPhone XR is the cheaper variant of the iPhone XS. It’s no longer news about the complaints of the exorbitant price of Apple’s smartphones. Well, Apple seems to be listening carefully and have taken a bold step with this move. The smartphone still features most of the cores values of the iPhone XS like the A12 Bionic chipset. Let’s take a look at what Apple has in stock for this so-called cheaper variant.
iPhone XR Design
Apple design the iPhone XR via a 7 layer colour process which makes it elegant and still simple. The back glass has colour variants of Black, Red, Yellow, Blue, Coral and White. At the front, we have a top-notch which houses the TrueDepth camera, Face ID and other sensors.
The dimensions and weight of the iPhone XR are rather too big. It weighs 194 grams and has a size of 150.9 x 75.7 x 8.3 mm. I know the iPhone XS isn’t this big or heavy. The iPhone XR gets the usual IP67 water protection like its brothers.

One of the fattest processors is what you’ll find inside the iPhone XR. The A12 Bionic chipset offers better overall performance than the Snapdragon 845 chipset. The chipset is built on the 7nm manufacturing process. It features 2 Vortex cores which clock at 2.5 GHz and 4 Tempest cores which clock at 1.6 GHz. For graphics, the chipset comes with four core graphics processing unit. The storage option we have on the iPhone XR are 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
