iPhone XS Max Design
The design of the XS Max is the same as the iPhone X. The iPhone XS Max is probably one of the slimmest flagship smartphones in the market right now with a 7.7mm thickness. The device features a flat back with tapered edges. The dual rear camera is at the top left corner with the Quad-LED dual-tone flash in-between just like the iPhone X. The top-notch of the iPhone XS Max features Face ID, the earpiece/speaker and the 7MP selfie camera.
The iPhone X has IP67 certification for dust/water resistant. While the XS Max comes with an improved IP68 certification. The iPhone X can be submerged into the 1-metre depth of water for 30 minutes. Whereas, the XS Max with its IP68 can go as deep as 2 metres. The iPhone XS Max features a front and back glass with its frame made up of stainless steel. The device comes in three colour variants of Space Gray, Silver and Gold. And weighs 208 grams, which isn’t too big in relative to other high-end flagship.

The iPhone XS Max comes with a massive 6.5-inch display, which Apple managed to squeeze inside its 157.5 height & 77.4mm width. The display panel packs a Super AMOLED touchscreen, 1242 x 2688 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 458 PPI density.

The iPhone XS Max features a dual 12MP camera sensor of wide and telephoto at the back just like the one you have on the iPhone X. The camera features a smart HDR. The wide primary 12MP sensor features an f/1.8 aperture. Whereas, the telephoto secondary 12MP sensor features an f/2.4 aperture.
At the front, the XS Max features the regular 7MP f/2.2 selfie camera. But unlike the iPhone X, the sensor has a new ISP which improves its speed. Overall, the camera quality of the iPhone XS Max isn’t a big upgrade from the iPhone X but there are still some differences.

Like other new Apple generation smartphones, the XS Max is powered by the A12X Bionic chipset. The chipset features two Vortex cores clocked at 2.5 GHz and four Tempest cores clocked at 1.6 GHz. There is also a new designed four cores of GPU in this chipset, which according to Apple offers 50% higher performance and memory to its predecessor.
