iPhone XS Review, Specs, Features and Price

by Obodoakor Moses

The iPhone XS is the direct successor to Apple‘s rather successful iPhone X. There are a few upgrades from the iPhone X but importantly is the new A12X Bionic chipset built with the 7nm manufacturing process. The letter “S” in the iPhone XS generally means speed and the A12X Bionic chipset brings just that. It’s 15% faster in performance and 50% in graphics than the chipset found in the iPhone X; the A11 Bionic chipset. Let’s get straight to reviewing this smartphone.

iPhone XS Design

The design of the iPhone XS is no different from the iPhone X and we aren’t surprised about it. The iPhone XS features the same front and back glass with shiny stainless steel wrapped around the frame. This is also the smallest of the three new iPhones: iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS & iPhone XR. It features a dimension of 143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm and weighs 177 grams.

At the back is the dual camera placed horizontally at the top left corner. In between the dual rear camera is the quad-LED dual-tone flash. The face ID which is housed in the top-notch uses 3D scanning for its identification. Like the iPhone X, you get the option to choose from Space Gray, Silver and Gold colour variants.
