The Honor Magic 2 3D is the successor to last year’s Magic 2. It comes with exciting new features such as face unlock sensor, which is called “3D sensor” that can reportedly see in the dark. But this isn’t the only difference from the Magic 2. The Magic 2 3D is more like a Pro version. Let’s see what it entails. The Honor Magic 2 3D features a beautiful and shiny colour-changing gradient on the curved back. It features a triple rear camera setup with LED flash at the top left. The phone generally weighs 260 grams, which is the cause of its slider mechanism that brings out the front-facing camera. It isn’t that thick, measuring just 8.3 mm in thickness. The Magic 2 3D is available in gradient colours of Black, Blue and Red.

Honor Magic 2 3D Display
The Magic 2 3D avoids the use of a notch or punch-hole camera. The front is house to a 6.4 inches AMOLED touchscreen with 84.8% screen-to-body ratio. The display features a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 403 PPI density. It also comes with 100% DCI-P3 and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

There is a total of six cameras on the Magic 2 3D to make sure your pictures never come out bad. At the rear is a triple camera setup of dual 16 MP sensors with a 24 MP sensor. The triple selfie camera setup, which uses a slider mechanism consists of a 16 MP and 2 MP sensors with a 3D TOF (Time-of-Flight) camera.

The Honor Magic 2 3D runs on Android 9.0 Pie with a custom Magic UI 2.0 interface on top. The user interface is similar to EMUI 9.0. One of the key difference is the Yoyo onboard virtual assistant from Honor.
