The LG K40 is the youngest siblings among the three smartphones released by LG ahead of Mobile World Congress 2019 at Barcelona, Spain. It’s the cheapest among the trio and features lower specs. The K40 features a military tough body with a MIL-STD-810G compliant. It is probably the only smartphone in this price category with such a feature.
LG K40 Design
The phone is built to be a durable and rugged budget smartphone and still look attractive. It’s probably thick with an 8.3 mm in measurement. The front display of the K40 features visible bezels at the top and bottom. This is probably a wrong move from LG as we are clearly past the age of thick bezels especially at the top.
Moving over to the back is a small rounded fingerprint sensor at the centre. Above the sensor, is a single camera with LED flash in a horizontal direction. The K40 is available in only Blue body colour.
