The Motorola Moto G7 Plus is the premium or senior of its siblings from Motorola’s affordable G7 family. The rest of the family members are the Moto G7, Moto G7 Power and Moto G7 Play. When it comes to making budget-friendly smartphones, Motorola is one of the best brands to check out. Let’s take a closer look at this premium mid-range smartphone.
Motorola Moto G7 Plus Design
The Motorola Moto G7 Plus features what I will call a ‘budget beauty design’. It has this premium look thanks to the Corning gorilla glass 3 which is covering the front and back. Then a shiny aluminium covering the frame. It doesn’t feel that much heavy, weighing just 176 grams and measures 8.3 mm in thickness. The Moto G7 Plus might not be water resistant but it’s certainly splash resistant and can withstand splashes of water.
Unlike the Moto G6 Plus which features a front-mounted fingerprint scanner, Motorola has moved the scanner to the back on the Moto G7 Plus. Deep Indigo and Viva Red are the only two body colour options available on the Moto G7 Plus.

There is a dedicated microSD slot for additional storage up to 512 GB. The chipset with an eight Kryo 260 cores of processor should handle most basic multitasking.
