The Nokia 8.1 is a new Android One flagship smartphone from Nokia. It comes with some premium features despite being a mid-ranger. HMD Global are the people behind Nokia phone section and are doing a good job in bringing the brand back to life. This smartphone is proof of HMD Global success in short span they took over. The smartphone is also known as Nokia X7 in China.

The Nokia 8.1 features a front and back glass, which gives it a premium feel. The frame is made up of aluminium just like most flagships. The frame is different from the front and back. The Nokia phone is available in three different colour combinations. We have the Blue with the Silver colour frame, Steel with Copper colour frame and Iron with Steel colour frame.
Moving to the back, we have a circular fingerprint sensor underneath a horizontally arranged dual camera. The LED flash is at the left-hand side of the dual rear camera. The Nokia brand name is below the fingerprint sensor and the Android One logo at the bottom. At the front, is a wide top notch which houses the selfie camera and other sensors. The Nokia 8.1 weighs 180 grams and measures 8 mm thick.

The display of the Nokia 8.1 is a 6.18 inches IPS LCD touchscreen. The FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels makes the screen sharp and well detailed. The display features a 19:9 aspect ratio and 408 PPI density. Protecting the display of the Nokia device is NEG (Nippon Electric Glass). NEG Co. Ltd is a leading glass manufacturer from Japan and a strong competitor to Corning Gorilla glass.
