The hardware is probably the only main difference between the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G and OnePlus 7 Pro. According to Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon; “5G is here to stay”. The company manufactures Snapdragon chipset, which one of the best around. Now they have developed the Snapdragon X50 modem with a download speed capability of 5 Gbps, which is 5x faster than the 4G modem. So the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G comes with Snapdragon 855 SoC along with the X50 modem, which gives it the 5G network hence its name.
There is no word yet about the memory variant that will be available on the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G. But we can assume it will be as the OnePlus 7 Pro, which has 6GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB. It’s either it has all three variant or might just pick one. We think it will be the 12GB/256GB variant.
Chipset: Snapdragon 855 (7 nm)
