The Samsung Galaxy A20 is the newest addition to Samsung impressive and affordable A-series. This device comes with one of the best display in the market; the Super AMOLED Infinity-V Display. Samsung aggressive approach to the budget and mid-range market this year might pay off for them. The company has a lot of options for users to choose from. This Galaxy A20 will compete with other budget smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy M20, Samsung Galaxy A30 and even the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.

Samsung Galaxy A20 Design

The Galaxy A20 features a similar design with its siblings. It comes with a waterdrop notch design with the visible bottom chin. The body is made up of glossy polycarbonate material, which according to Samsung is called “Glastic”. It pretty much looks like a premium glass even though it’s of polymer material. The device comes in three colour variants; Black, Deep Blue, Coral Orange and Red.

At the back of the Galaxy A20 is a fingerprint scanner at the top middle and a dual camera with LED flash at the top left. The phone dimensions are 158.4 x 74.7 x 7.8 mm. And it weighs 169 grams, just one gram heavier than the Galaxy A10.

Samsung Galaxy A20 Display

The 6.4 inches display size featured on the Galaxy A20 is one of the largest for a device in this price range. The display type is a premium Super AMOLED touchscreen seen on flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S10. Though the resolution isn’t of flagship standard, it features a 720 x 1520 pixels resolution with 268 PPI density. The device features a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 85% screen-to-body ratio.

Camera

Unlike the Galaxy A10 that features a single rear camera, the Galaxy A20 comes with the dual rear camera. The camera features a 13 MP f/1.9 wide sensor and a 5 MP f/2.2 ultrawide sensor. At the front is an 8 MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. There is no LED flash for the selfie camera as seen on the Galaxy A10.

Hardware

Powering the Samsung Galaxy A20 is the Exynos 7884 chipset with an Octa-core processor that doesn’t clock up to 2.0 GHz. You can forget about running heavy tasks on this smartphone. The memory variant available here is a 3 GB RAM with 32 GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 512 GB through the microSD slot.
