The Samsung Galaxy A30 is the latest smartphone under the A-series. The A-series is an upper mid-range series from Samsung. With the Samsung Galaxy S10 now accepted in full mode but still not affordable to the vast majority of smartphone users. If you’re a Samsung fan and love their way of doing things in the Android world, then the A-series is one to check out.

Samsung Galaxy A30 Design

The Samsung Galaxy A30 is very light to hold and thin also with 7.7 mm measurement in thickness. The phone features a polymer back, front glass with plastic frame. The front display features a teardrop notch which houses the selfie camera. The Galaxy A30 comes with an IP68 water/dust resistance rating.

Unlike the Galaxy A50 that features an on-screen fingerprint scanner, the Galaxy A30 comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The body colour options available for the Galaxy A30 is Black, White and Blue.

Samsung Galaxy A30 Display

The Galaxy A30 despite being a mid-range devices features a premium display specs. The display is a 6.4 inches Super AMOLED touchscreen. The screen-to-body ratio is 85.1% with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The resolution is 1080 x 2340 pixels with 403 PPI density.

Probably not the best of camera specs, the Galaxy A30 features a dual camera setup. The setup features a main 16 MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture and PDAF + a secondary 5 MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The camera setup can’t record videos at 4K instead it records at 1080p at 30fps. For selfies, the Galaxy A30 features a 16 MP snapper with f/2.0 aperture.

Under the hood of the Galaxy A30 is Exynos 7885 chipset with an Octa-core processor clocking at 2.2 GHz. The Galaxy A30 comes in two memory variants of 3GB RAM with 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage.
