The Samsung Galaxy A6s officially becomes the first Samsung smartphone not to be manufactured by Samsung. From what we gathered, Samsung outscored the production of the Samsung Galaxy A6s to a Chinese company called Wingtech. Wingtech also manufactures most Xiaomi mid-range smartphones. This is a way of cutting down the production cost of their mid-rangers and budget smartphone, thereby making it cheaper for consumers.
Samsung Galaxy A6s Design
The Samsung Galaxy A6s gradient colour makes the design so much adorable for a budget mid-range. The body features a glass build which makes the gradient colour looks shiny and flashy. The colour options available for the Samsung Galaxy A6s are Black, White, Blue, Pink and Red.
At the back of the Galaxy A6s is a top central fingerprint sensor for biometric security. Move to the top left corner and you’ll be greeted by a dual rear camera and a LED flash. The Samsung Galaxy A6s measures 156.1 x 76.4 x 8.4 mm in dimensions.

The Samsung Galaxy A6s sports a dual rear camera consisting of a 12MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary depth sensor. This is not the best camera for its segment but it’s certainly decent for taking colourful and detailed pictures. The camera can also shoot 4K resolution video at 30 frames per second. For selfies, you get a single 12MP selfie shooter capable of snapping amazing selfies.

Underneath this device is the Snapdragon 660 chipset with an 8-core processor. Graphics and gaming are handled by the Adreno 512 graphics processing unit. You’ll get a 6GB RAM with a storage option of 64GB or 128GB. Just like every other Galaxy smartphones, there is a microSD slot for more storage up to 512GB. But the SIM 2 slot acts as a hybrid which is where the microSD will be inserted.

Powering the Galaxy A6s is the non-removable Li-ion 3,300 mAh battery. With most mid-rangers having a 4,000 mAh battery, Samsung should have done better in the battery department of this smartphone. The 3,300 mAh battery will still last you well enough for daily/regular usage.
