The Sony Xperia 10 is the mid-range smartphone released by Sony at the Mobile World Congress 2019. This device is projected to be a strong competitor to other smartphones in the mid-range segment. The Xperia 10 comes with a bigger variant; Xperia 10 Plus. Sony calls it their “super mid-range family”. This Xperia 10 does feel much like a premium device, so let’s check it out.
Sony Xperia 10 Design
The Sony Xperia 10 premium-feel is as a result of its front Corning Gorilla glass with metallic finish plastic unibody. Unlike the bigger plus variant, the Xperia 10 weighs just 162 grams. It does measure 8.4 mm in thickness which isn’t really slim. There is a fingerprint sensor built on the right side of the phone.
The rear camera setup of the Xperia 10 protrudes towards the to centre, leaving very little space for the LED flash above it. You’ll get to choose from Black, Navy, Silver and Pink body colours option when making your purchase.

Running under the hood is the Snapdragon 630 chip with an 8-cores (Cortex-A53) processor which clocks at 2.2 GHz. This chipset is very efficient in most smartphones we have seen it in e.g Nokia 6.1 and even Sony Xperia XA2. The Sony Xperia 10 comes with a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. To get a bigger RAM, you have to be in China, as the Chinese model comes with a 6 GB RAM.
